ATCB Office Closed: Dec. 19, 2025 – January 5, 2026

  1. ATCB Office Closed: Dec. 19, 2025 - January 5, 2026

ATCB is closed as of 5:00 p.m. ET on December 19 and will reopen on January 5, 2026. During this period, staff will not be responding to emails or contact form submissions except in critical circumstances. This closure is because the ATCB is preparing to introduce a modernized MyATCB credentialing management system as part of our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, as well as, the holiday break.

Office Closure FAQs

When will ATCB begin responding to messages again?

ATCB will return to the office on January 5 and begin responding to messages submitted through the contact form at that time. Following the office closure and system transition, we anticipate a higher-than-usual volume of inquiries.

Responses may take approximately 10–14 business days once the staff returns, as messages are reviewed and addressed in the order received. ATCB operates with a three-person administrative staff in order to maintain credentialing and examination fees without increases. ATCB appreciates your patience as staff balance inquiry responses with credentialing, examination, and operational responsibilities.

What happens if I submit a conduct violation report during the ATCB office closure?

ATCB will continue to monitor conduct violation reports during the office closure. Reports that raise credible concerns related to public safety will be reviewed and addressed promptly.

Other conduct-related matters that do not indicate an immediate risk will be reviewed once the office reopens and standard operations resume. This approach ensures that urgent public protection concerns are not delayed, while maintaining appropriate review processes for all reports.

I see posting to the ATCB socials while you are closed. Can I connect with you there during the closure?

ATCB’s social media posts during the office closure are scheduled in advance and managed with the support of a third-party service. These partners do not have access to MyATCB, credentialing records, or applicant information.

Direct messages and comments on social media are not monitored regularly by ATCB staff. For this reason, social media should not be used to request assistance or share credentialing information. All inquiries will be addressed once the ATCB office reopens on January 5.

Will ATCB post updates about the new system anywhere besides email?

Yes. ATCB will share updates through multiple official channels.

  • Email: Primary updates will be sent via email. To help ensure delivery, we recommend saving the ATCB Chairman’s Message sender address to your contacts or safe sender list.
  • ATCB Website: A dedicated webpage will provide the most current information about the new MyATCB system and related announcements.
  • Social Media: ATCB will share high-level updates and reminders on our official social media channels:

Please note that social media is used for announcements and reminders only and should not be used for credentialing questions or individual assistance.

Why does ATCB recommend using a personal email address for messages from the ATCB?

ATCB recommends using a personal email address to help ensure reliable delivery of credentialing communications. Many institutional, school, and workplace email systems use security filters that may block or delay messages—particularly emails sent to large groups or containing external links.

Using a personal email address helps ensure continuity of communication and reduces the risk of missing important notices related to applications, renewals, system updates, or deadlines. Maintaining an additional contact email also provides ATCB with a dependable way to reach you if delivery issues occur.
