Report A Compliance Violation

All applicants must report any ethical violations. Credential holders are required to report any violations within 60 days of occurrence.

Self-Reporting Guidelines for ATCB Credential Holders and Applicants

For Applicants

All applicants must report any ethical violations as outlined in the ATCB Code governing Standards of Practice, Eligibility for and Regulation of Credentials, and Disciplinary Procedures. These reports should be cited in the ethics attestation within the application. It is crucial to upload all relevant information regarding the violation, as the review process cannot begin until the Compliance Officer has received all necessary details. Be aware that applications with an compliance violation report will not proceed until the review is complete. To avoid delays, ensure that you upload all pertinent information and provide a specific and detailed description of the circumstances, citing the relevant section of the ATCB Code governing Standards of Practice, Eligibility for and Regulation of Credentials, and Disciplinary Procedures that was violated.

For Credential Holders

ATCB credential holders (including ATR-Provisionals, ATRs, ATR-BCs, and ATCSs) are required to report any violations within 60 days of occurrence. The compliance attestation available during credential renewal (April 1 to June 30) can be used for this purpose. However, it is important not to wait until the renewal period to report a violation, especially if it exceeds the 60-day requirement. In such cases, the ethics violation should be reported directly to ATCB via the Statement of Conduct Compliance Form. Include details of the violation or upload any related documentation initially.
