SELF REPORTING
All ATCB credential holders (ATR-Provisionals, ATRs, ATR-BCs, ATCSs) and applicants must report any violation referred to in the ATCB Code of Ethics, Conduct, and Disciplinary Procedures document.
For applicants: violation reports must be cited in the ethics attestation found within the application. IMPORTANT: upload all information related to the violation; the review cannot begin until the Ethics Officer has all relevant information regarding the violation. Questions about the information and documents needed can be sent to ethics@atcb.org. Please note any application with an ethics violation cannot proceed until the review is complete. To avoid delays, upload any information relevant to the case. Please include a specific and detailed description of the circumstances surrounding the ethical and/or legal violation, citing the section of ATCB’s Code of Ethics, Conduct, and Disciplinary Procedures that have been violated.
For credential holders: ATCB policy requires all violations to be reported within 60 days of the violation. The ethics attestation in the credential renewal (April 1 to June 30) can be used to report a violation. However, do not wait until renewals to report a violation, especially if it exceeds the 60-day requirement. In these instances the ethics violation report should be made to ethics@atcb.org. DO NOT include information about the nature of the report OR upload any relevant documentation. Please indicate the following:
“I need to self-report an ethics violation. The ATCB Ethics Officer will have LeeAnn Mandrillo, Executive Director, contact you with information on how you can securely submit this information.”
