LeeAnn Mandrillo, MPA
Executive Director

With two decades of experience in allied health and non-profit management, LeeAnn is thrilled to rejoin the Art Therapy Credential Board. She holds a bachelor’s in nutritional sciences and a master’s in public administration, affairs, and policy from Rutgers University. A staunch advocate for expressive therapies,  she knows its impact, art therapy played a crucial role in her son’s recovery from neurological Lyme Disease.

In collaboration with the Board of Directors and staff, LeeAnn is instrumental in formulating and sustaining a long-term strategy and managing daily operations. Her leadership extends to developing organizational, programmatic, and financial plans, ensuring the Art Therapy Credentials Board’s mission is fulfilled—safeguarding the public by endorsing art therapy’s competent and ethical practice through credentialing professionals in the field.

Kimia Hafezi, MPA
Certification Director

Kimia originally joined the ATCB in June 2016. Before returning to the ATCB in 2023, she coordinated the International Association of Accessibility Professionals’ certification program. Kimia has a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in public affairs with a concentration in nonprofit management, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Kimia manages the certification, credentialing, recertification, renewal, and state licensure processes and procedures. Kimia works closely with LeeAnn to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and best practices in certification and credentialing.

 

Shelby Dalton
Credentialing Specialist-Provisional

In 2024, Shelby returned to the ATCB, bringing her ten years of experience in the service industry. She has earned associate degrees in communications and political science from the College of the Redwoods. Shelby coordinates the provisional program (ATR-P), which encompasses processing applications and maintaining ongoing operations. Her critical role involves supervising the provisional registration process, guaranteeing thorough education and application evaluations, providing guidance on requirements, and assisting ATR-P credential holders with their renewal procedures.

Cheryce Overstreet
Credentialing Specialist-Registration

Cheryce oversees the registration program (ATR), where she coordinates the registration process, ensures comprehensive application assessments, tracks trends, and offers guidance on requirements. She graduated from Kentucky State University with a degree in Social science. Cheryce supports ATRs with their renewal processes and advises on achieving board certification distinction on the registration.
